A new version of Infinity will be deployed soon.

The current users must register on the Infinity mailing list to receive important announcements. This is especially important for MetaCentrum members.

Register into Infinity mailing list

If you do not want to use the Infinity anymore, you can uninstall it in MetaCentrum (CERIT-SC) by running the following command:

$ /software/ncbr/infiboot/infinity-activate metavo-remove

On other sites (WOLF, LCC, IVAVIK, SOKAR, ROBOX), the Infinity environment is mandatory and should not be deactivated.

Tentative Schedule

This schedule can change. The aim is to deploy the new versions as soon as possible. Due to technical reasons, the previous AMS and ABS versions will not be kept for a long time.

  • 2024-01-17 - software repository cleanup V (finalization)
  • 2024-01-20 - AMS9.x/ABS4.x deployed on the WOLF cluster for beta testing
  • 2024-01-21 - iSoftRepo installed
  • 2024-01-22 - AMS9.x/ABS4.x deployed on the IVAVIK cluster
  • 2024-01-24 - AMS9.x/ABS4.x deployed on the SOKAR cluster
